The Proposal Manager will be integral to the company's growth, providing essential project management, strategic thinking, and content generation skills. This role is based in Long Beach, CA, and San Diego, CA.

The Proposal Manager will craft compelling materials to inform customers' market research and acquisition strategies, write clear, persuasive technical, cost, and business narratives on Voyager's capabilities, and develop and implement robust pricing strategies in coordination with the Voyager Pricing Organization. The role involves collaborating across internal and external stakeholder teams to successfully close deals, leading internal proposal reviews, constructing narratives and proposal documents that directly drive Voyager's business growth, and analyzing RFP/RFI/ROM requirements. Additionally, the Proposal Manager will coordinate with performing organizations to develop all elements of the response, support internal proposal reviews, support customer fact findings, and provide negotiation support.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, engineering, or a related field, and over four years of experience in proposals, contracts, pricing, or operations, ideally in aerospace, defense, aviation, or a manufacturing environment. The candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance and possess exceptional writing skills with a proven ability to generate comprehensive documents under tight deadlines. A working knowledge of FAR, DFAR, TINA, and other Government procurement regulations as they pertain to proposals is essential. The role also requires aptitude and experience in building structure and process, the ability to clearly articulate complex technical information, and comfort and experience working with a diverse range of disciplines, including Design, Engineering, Program Management, Supply Chain, Legal, and Finance.

Preferred qualifications include an MBA or advanced degree in Business, Finance, or Engineering, and experience with Space Programs.
