Avetta is seeking a QHSE Quality, Training, & Development Professional to join our Audit Optimization Department. This role is pivotal in maintaining the quality of QHSE Manual Audits, training new auditors, and overseeing ongoing education initiatives. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, capable of independent work, and adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Key responsibilities include facilitating training sessions for new Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) and Independent Contractor (IC) Auditors, assisting regional managers in onboarding efforts, and providing leadership to QHSE Associates or Professionals. The role also involves maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions for audits, supporting audit quality methodologies to ensure product quality and reliability, and reviewing auditors' assessments of supplier QHSE management systems. Additionally, the professional will collaborate cross-functionally to complete investigations and identify corrective actions, validate documentation accuracy, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and certification standards.

The ideal candidate must be fluent in English and at least one of the following languages: Japanese, Mandarin, Cantonese, or Malay. A bachelor's degree in a QHSE-related discipline is highly preferred, along with an advanced safety designation such as NEBOSH or AIHS. A quality, safety, or environmental management system auditor designation (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) is also preferred. Candidates should have over five years of experience in safety supply chain management, with prior experience in an Avetta HSE Professional role being advantageous. A profound knowledge of WHS regulations and familiarity with regulatory agencies like NOPSEMA and ISO are essential. Experience in developing and maintaining quality documents, a background in industry and field HSE, and proficiency in computer applications such as Access, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint, as well as web conferencing software and JIRA, are also required.
