Quality Assurance Intern

As a Quality Assurance Intern at Appier, you will be an integral part of our QA team, dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of software quality and reliability. This role provides a unique opportunity to delve into various aspects of software testing and quality control in a fast-paced and innovative tech environment. We are currently looking for individuals who can commit to an internship schedule of 3-5 days (24-40 hours) per week. This internship opportunity entails a minimum duration of 1 year, beginning from the present date. Students from the third year of undergraduate to the second year of master's program are welcome!

Your primary responsibilities will include executing manual tests, reporting bugs via JIRA, verifying bug fixes, and conducting exploratory testing with guided charters. For our Advertising Cloud, you will test ads in apps and websites, recording screen videos and network traffic logs from ad clicks to the destination product page. In our Personalization Cloud and Data Cloud, you will test multi-channel marketing automation services empowered by AI, ensuring integration between components or products and identifying weak links in complex system architectures.

To be successful in this role, you should be able to understand requirements and specifications, and follow test steps written in English. An interest in learning new technology and solving real-world problems is essential. Candidates should be graduating students or hold a BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Preferred qualifications include experience in web and mobile application testing, understanding of HTTP protocols and functionalities, familiarity with tools like Fiddler/Charles proxy server and Postman/SoapUI for HTTP testing, good communication skills in English, and experience with programming using AI tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
