Receptionist - White City House, West London (Part Time)
Soho House is seeking a part-time Receptionist for White City House in West London. As the first point of contact for members and guests, the Receptionist plays a crucial role in delivering a seamless front-of-house experience, setting the tone for an exceptional and welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive. This position is integral to the daily coordination of club operations, emphasizing discretion, efficiency, and elegance.
Key responsibilities include warmly welcoming members and guests by name, managing high-volume phone lines for reservations and inquiries, and maintaining a clean and organized reception area. The Receptionist will also perform guest list duties, assist with coat check services, and address guest concerns promptly. Building strong relationships with members and guests, supporting management with new hire training, and staying informed about all club facilities and events are also essential aspects of the role.
The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of experience in a front desk role, preferably within luxury hospitality or private members' clubs. Strong leadership and team coordination skills, excellent verbal and written communication abilities, and proficiency in reservation systems such as Opera or Open Table are required. The ability to remain calm under pressure and a guest-first mindset are also crucial for success in this role.
Compensation for this position is £15 per hour.
