Release Engineer
BrainRocket is seeking a skilled Release Engineer to join our team in Belgrade, Serbia. As a global company specializing in end-to-end tech products across Fintech, iGaming, and Marketing, we have rapidly expanded our presence in multiple countries. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Operations, Infrastructure, Development, Legal, and Security teams to build and enhance release processes using tools like Jira and GitLab. You will be responsible for implementing and continuously improving release processes across numerous development teams, ensuring environment consistency from development to production stages, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to deliver high-quality releases. Additionally, you will assist teams with branching strategies and DevOps principles to facilitate quick and safe delivery.
The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to drive changes in a fast-growing environment. Experience with Kubernetes and a deep understanding of its internal workings are essential. Hands-on experience with the Argo ecosystem, including ArgoCD and Argo Rollout, is required. A solid grasp of microservice architecture principles, proficiency with GitLab CI, and knowledge of quality control and test automation in agile-based continuous integration environments are also necessary. Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting for daily automation tasks, along with experience with MySQL databases and Redis, is expected.
