Relocation Specialist
BrainRocket is seeking a Relocation Specialist to join our HR team in Lisbon, Portugal. As a global company developing tech products across Fintech, iGaming, and Marketing, we are expanding our international presence and require a dedicated professional to manage the full relocation journey for our international employees. This on-site, full-time role is crucial in ensuring a smooth, compliant, and people-focused relocation experience, contributing to the scaling of our global mobility operations.
In this position, you will oversee the end-to-end relocation process for international employees joining BrainRocket. Your responsibilities will include managing visa, work permit, and residence permit processes in Portugal, collaborating with trusted immigration partners, and ensuring compliance with Portuguese regulations. You will act as the primary contact for relocating employees and their families, supporting them through essential onboarding steps such as obtaining NIF, Social Security, bank account setup, health registration, and other mandatory documentation. Additionally, you will maintain relationships with relocation vendors, negotiate competitive rates, and monitor service quality to ensure consistent, high-quality support.
The ideal candidate will have over two years of hands-on experience relocating employees to Portugal from various countries. You should possess strong knowledge of Portuguese immigration, work permit, and residence permit processes, and have experience working with external partners such as relocation agencies, real estate agents, and immigration lawyers. Excellent organizational and project management skills are essential, along with strong communication abilities and a people-oriented approach. A problem-solving mindset, high attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, growing environment are also key qualifications.
