Renewal Specialist (SMB) (Hybrid)
The SMB Renewal Specialist at KnowBe4 is responsible for managing the renewal process for small and mid-sized business customers. This role involves coordinating with Customer Success Managers and customers to provide pricing quotes and efficiently close renewal opportunities. KnowBe4 is a leading cybersecurity company that empowers organizations worldwide to strengthen their security culture through its AI-driven Human Risk Management platform.
Key responsibilities include managing all opportunities within the assigned customer portfolio, conducting research to understand customer health and account status, and strategizing on renewals, add-ons, and upsells to maximize bookings. The specialist will proactively engage with customers, handle objections, negotiate terms to prevent churn, and generate accurate pricing quotes. Maintaining a well-organized pipeline and meeting regularly with the Renewal Specialist Regional Director to review forecasts are also essential duties.
The ideal candidate should have an Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience, proficiency with Gmail, Google Docs, MS Office, and web browsers. Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems is preferred. Familiarity with IT security concepts, previous sales or negotiation experience, strong communication skills, excellent time management, superior customer service abilities, and the capacity to work independently are crucial for success in this role.
