RFP Specialist
Metropolis is seeking an RFP Specialist to join our Revenue Operations team. In this role, you will be the primary engine behind our proposal process, ensuring that every Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Information (RFI) we submit is clear, accurate, and competitive. You will work closely with stakeholders across Product, Legal, and Marketing to stay ahead of the curve on new products and initiatives, and to develop sample RFPs for new product launches while ensuring existing content remains accurate and competitive.
Key responsibilities include leading the creation of RFP responses that highlight the value of Metropolis’s Recognition Platform across hospitality, real estate, and beyond, ensuring every document is thorough, accurate, and positioned for success. You will also respond to quarterly service requests and ad-hoc inquiries with clarity that showcases the Metropolis experience, and ensure Metropolis products and services are accurately represented in external databases through meticulous monthly and quarterly updates. Additionally, you will take ownership of the RFP response database while continuously improving proposal tools and systems to enhance data quality as we scale.
We are looking for a candidate with 5+ years of professional experience in proposal writing, sales operations, or business development. Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to translate technical AI concepts into persuasive and easy-to-understand narratives are essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to navigate complex organizations and source information from various subject matter experts, including technical partners. A self-starter who can manage multiple conflicting deadlines in a demanding, high-growth environment is highly desirable. Comfort working with RFP automation software and CRM tools, as well as a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in data reporting, are also important.
While not required, experience in the real estate, mobility, or AI/Computer Vision industries is a plus. Familiarity with Letter.AI, GovSpend, or similar proposal management platforms, as well as experience responding to government, large-scale enterprise, and real estate procurement requests, would be beneficial.
