Sony Music Entertainment is seeking individuals to join our Royalties Talent Pool within the Global Finance Shared Services (GFSS) team in Warsaw. This initiative allows us to connect with potential candidates for future roles in our Royalties teams, encompassing both Royalty Operations and Royalty Accounting. As a global leader in music and entertainment, Sony Music operates in over 60 countries, supporting a diverse roster of artists and creators.
In the Royalty Operations team, responsibilities include managing and delivering accurate and timely royalty statements, performing reviews, analyses, and reconciliations, clearing suspense items, responding to inquiries, interpreting contracts, coding, and handling special projects. The Royalty Accounting team focuses on ensuring the accuracy and completeness of accounting closes, performing account analyses and reconciliations, and preparing royalty reports. Collaboration with various departments, including corporate, global reporting, planning, and external auditors, is integral to these roles.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or Finance, along with relevant work experience. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel (including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP), and Outlook is required; experience with SAP, EROS, and JIRA is advantageous. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks are essential. Effective written and verbal communication skills, as well as proficiency in both Polish and English, are necessary.
