Sales Engineer, NE/IA
Cato Networks is seeking a Sales Engineer to join our team in Omaha, Nebraska, serving the Nebraska and Iowa regions. In this position, you will collaborate closely with the sales team to drive and manage the technical evaluation stage of the sales process. Your responsibilities will include providing technical validation of Cato Networks' solutions to prospective clients, developing and delivering product demonstrations, and presenting our offerings at customer meetings and industry events. Additionally, you will respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs and RFPs, convey customer requirements to our Product Management teams, and travel throughout the assigned sales territory as needed.
The ideal candidate will have over four years of pre-sales or consulting experience with network and/or cloud security products in a customer-facing role. A proven track record in software sales is essential, along with a comprehensive understanding of networking technologies, including LAN and WAN technologies, switching and routing, security (firewalls and filtering technologies), and cloud services. Strong presentation skills and excellent written communication abilities are also required.
