SDET - Automation
OneTrust is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our dynamic engineering team. As an SDET, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by designing and implementing robust test automation frameworks. This position offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, contributing to the development of innovative solutions that empower organizations to manage their data responsibly.
In this role, your primary responsibilities will include developing and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks, collaborating with development teams to integrate testing into the software development lifecycle, and mentoring junior SDETs. You will also be expected to write unit and integration tests, conduct performance testing, and analyze test results to provide insights for product improvements. Additionally, you will participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous enhancement of testing processes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with proficiency in Java and a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles. Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium or Cypress, and familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines are essential. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with a proven track record in test-driven development and behavior-driven development, is required.
