Search Manager
WPP Media is seeking a Search Manager to lead the strategy and execution of search campaigns for key accounts. This role involves managing substantial investments across multiple regions, driving innovation, and optimizing performance to exceed client business objectives.
The Search Manager will be responsible for daily execution, management, and optimization of search campaigns, including PPC, Shopping, Display in Search, Discovery, and Performance Max on platforms such as Google Ads and Bing Ads. Key tasks include implementing and refining bidding strategies, account structures, keyword selection, and creative assets to maximize efficiency and ROI, while adapting strategies to regional nuances. Staying abreast of the latest trends, ad formats, and tools in search advertising is essential, as is actively implementing innovations and new functionalities to continually improve campaign performance. The role also involves identifying opportunities for task automation and process optimization within campaign management.
Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Search Manager, SEM Manager, or in a similar role, managing high-volume and high-budget SEM accounts. Expertise in Google Ads (including Search, Shopping, Display in Search, Performance Max, DSA, Discovery) and proficiency in Bing Ads (Microsoft Advertising) are required. Experience with web analytics tools like Google Analytics 4 and data visualization tools such as Looker Studio or Power BI is also necessary. The ideal candidate will have the ability to translate global strategies into detailed, effective tactical plans with a strong focus on continuous optimization and improvement. A genuine interest in researching, proposing, and applying new trends, formats, and technologies in daily campaign execution, including presenting business cases, is highly valued. Excellent communication skills are essential for interacting with the Search Team Lead, agencies, clients, and internal teams, as well as for presenting results and defending tactical decisions. The ability to work autonomously, efficiently manage multiple cross-functional projects, and prioritize tasks in a dynamic, high-volume environment is crucial.
