Senior Advisory Specialist

The Senior Advisory Specialist at Diligent Corporation is responsible for leading client engagements, coordinating task allocation, and delivering professional services throughout the customer journey and product enablement lifecycle. This role involves collaborating with internal teams to provide expert guidance on best practices for solution rollout and project execution, ensuring successful adoption and minimizing associated risks.

Key responsibilities include independently managing engagements, assisting professional services management and customer success teams during various stages of the customer lifecycle, and leveraging domain, industry, and product expertise to advise customers. The specialist will also perform quality assurance on work delivered by junior advisory specialists, mentor new hires, and support senior management in business development activities such as discovery calls and proposal generation.

Candidates should possess 5-7 years of experience in client-facing or consulting roles, demonstrate a customer-first mindset with urgency and accountability, and maintain high-quality work ethics with attention to detail. Effective time management, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) are essential. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to deliver presentations and workshops, are required. Relevant professional GRC accreditations, such as CIA, CISA, CRISC, or CISSP, are preferred.
