Senior AI Engineer
As a Senior AI Engineer at Diligent Corporation, you will take technical ownership of Compliance in a Box (CiaB), a flagship AI platform transforming how organizations manage governance, risk, and compliance at scale. This role involves designing and evolving the AI reasoning layer and agent orchestration framework, ensuring multiple intelligent agents collaborate and operate safely in regulated environments. You will work closely with product, security, and platform teams to deliver impactful solutions swiftly.
Key responsibilities include building and maintaining the GRC Brain (AI reasoning layer) and Agentic Cortex (agent orchestration framework), which form the core of the CiaB product. You will design and implement a seven-agent architecture comprising OnboardingAgent, ScopeAgent, StandardsMapper, RiskQuantifier, PolicyAnalyzer, InfrastructureAuditor, and ComplianceMonitor. Additionally, you will implement Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) gates across agent workflows, tune prompts and confidence scoring for Bedrock-hosted models, and own the agent evaluation framework to measure quality, latency, and reliability.
The ideal candidate holds a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related IT discipline and possesses a strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, including large language models (LLMs) and agent-based systems. Proficiency in writing clean, well-tested code, preferably in Python, is essential. Candidates should have substantial experience in shipping real AI products beyond chatbots, along with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
