Senior Analyst-Data Engineer
The Senior Analyst-Data Engineer position at WPP Media involves maintaining and expanding a global data warehouse, automated reports, and data provisioning applications to ensure media and marketing stakeholders have access to accurate data and insights for informed decision-making. The role is part of a data engineering team assigned to one of WPP’s major global clients, focusing on building and maintaining a global Measure-based reporting solution.
Key responsibilities include deploying data collectors in Adverity to gather data from various sources, developing and maintaining data quality checks and procedures, translating user requirements into technical specifications, and monitoring automated jobs to troubleshoot data issues. The role also involves supporting team members responsible for data transformation and visualization within Google Data Studio reports and dashboards, serving as a leader for junior staff, and providing hands-on support to users of reporting solutions.
Required qualifications include 3-4 years of progressive experience in data engineering, with expertise in Azure Data Factory, SQL, and cloud data platforms such as Azure and/or GCP. Candidates should have proven experience in designing, optimizing, and managing large-scale, production-grade data pipelines, including skills in SQL performance tuning, ADF orchestration, and CI/CD automation. Advanced knowledge of production operations, troubleshooting, and high-availability data processing at scale is also essential.
