The Senior Bookkeeper is responsible for managing all aspects of bookkeeping, including general ledger maintenance, bank and credit card reconciliations, and the preparation of financial reports. Additional day-to-day duties include processing accounts payable and receivable, tracking expenses, preparing and posting journal entries, and supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes. The position may also involve collaborating closely with financial advisors and other team members to ensure accurate and timely financial data entry and reporting.
Ideal candidates will possess significant hands-on bookkeeping experience, preferably within a financial services, wealth management, or accounting environment. Advanced proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar systems is essential, as are strong Excel and data management skills.
