Senior Clinical Trial Associate (Sr. CTA)
The Senior Clinical Trial Associate (Sr. CTA) at MapLight Therapeutics is an integral part of the clinical operations team, supporting the execution of innovative clinical trials in neuroscience. In this role, the Sr. CTA will oversee and manage essential clinical trial documents, support study start-up and close-out activities, and coordinate communication among study sites, vendors, and internal teams. Responsibilities include maintaining trial master files, monitoring clinical trial milestones, managing site payment tracking, and assisting in preparation for regulatory inspections. The Sr. CTA will collaborate closely with project managers to ensure all aspects of the trial are progressing according to timeline and quality expectations.
The ideal candidate brings a bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a related field along with at least 3-5 years of experience in clinical trial support within a pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO setting. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in clinical trial management systems are essential. The Sr. CTA must be a proactive problem-solver, an effective communicator, and comfortable working under deadlines in a dynamic environment.
