Senior Counsel, ANZ
DoorDash Australia is seeking an experienced Senior Counsel to join its legal team in Melbourne or Sydney. The Senior Counsel will collaborate closely with teams such as strategy & operations, product, partnerships, and policy to support business growth while managing legal risks in a dynamic environment. Candidates should be qualified to practice law in Australia with at least 8 years of post-qualification experience, including advising on commercial, consumer, regulatory, and litigation matters. Prior in-house experience at a technology or fast-paced international company is preferred. A strong understanding of Australian legal and regulatory frameworks relevant to technology and marketplace businesses, including consumer, privacy, competition, and commercial law, is essential. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, the ability to work autonomously, exercise strong judgment, and effectively balance legal risk with business objectives are also required.
