Senior Creative Strategist
The Senior Creative Strategist at Semafor is responsible for developing original media strategies, brand narratives, and strategic platforms tailored to clients across various industries and markets, with a focus on New York, Washington D.C., Africa, and the Gulf regions. This role involves close collaboration with the Sales team, Revenue Operations team, and broader marketing teams to create compelling proposals that align with client objectives and Semafor's mission of delivering transparent and insightful journalism.
Key responsibilities include becoming a subject matter expert on Semafor’s brand and products, engaging deeply with clients to understand their brand challenges and objectives, and utilizing research and data to support strategic and creative ideas. The strategist will create and design engaging proposals, lead internal and external brainstorming sessions, and work directly with Semafor leadership on high-profile pitches and presentations.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree and have 4-6 years of experience in advertiser marketing or sales. Essential skills include excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities, strong project management and organizational skills, and a demonstrated ability to generate revenue through marketing strategies. Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Google Slides and PowerPoint, is required.
The position offers a salary range of $115,000 to $135,000 per year, with compensation based on factors such as education, work experience, and certifications.
