Senior Data Modeler

Experian is seeking a Senior Data Modeler to join our Analytics Team, supporting our North America Business. This role involves developing and validating analytical solutions for diverse clients, including ad hoc data analysis and statistical models for predicting and managing consumer behavior. The Senior Data Modeler will present results and business analysis to senior stakeholders and support junior team members in their daily activities.

Key responsibilities include data extraction and processing, developing and managing credit risk models such as application, behavioral, and collection scoring models, evaluating model performance, producing ad-hoc analyses, working on proof-of-concept projects, overseeing junior team members, and identifying opportunities for automation.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a numerical discipline such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, or Physics. They should possess over three years of experience with Python, including its main analytical packages like Pandas, Numpy, and scikit-learn. A strong understanding of analytical approaches, including regression analysis and machine learning, is essential. Proficiency in probability, statistical inference, optimization algorithms, linear algebra, and calculus is required. Experience with BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI is advantageous, and fluency in English is necessary.
