Senior Data Scientist (AI Deployment)
Braze is seeking a Senior Data Scientist specializing in AI Deployment to join our Forward-Deployed Data Scientist team. This role involves collaborating with customer Analytics and BI teams to implement and optimize AI solutions, contributing to Braze's mission of enhancing customer engagement through innovative technology.
Key responsibilities include defining use cases, integrating data, setting up pipelines, and configuring machine learning models. The role also involves improving product architecture, developing reusable data pipelines and APIs, refining reinforcement learning algorithms, and providing ongoing technical expertise to ensure successful adoption and measurable outcomes for customers.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field, with a Master's or PhD preferred. A minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer working with large-scale data and production environments is required. Proficiency in Python (Pandas) and core machine learning libraries (TensorFlow, Keras, scikit-learn, CatBoost, XGBoost), as well as strong SQL skills, are essential. Experience with DevOps tools, data integration, and reinforcement learning algorithms is advantageous. Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with clients and cross-functional teams are also important.
