Senior Data Scientist
Point Digital Finance, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our expanding data team. In this role, you will develop and deploy machine learning models that support marketing initiatives, enhance customer engagement, and address core business challenges. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced data scientists, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders in a collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities include designing, training, and deploying machine learning models to solve marketing, forecasting, and operational problems. You will monitor model performance, detect drift or deterioration, and assist in implementing corrective measures. Additionally, you will develop time-series forecasts and performance dashboards to inform marketing strategies and broader business decisions. Maintaining and transforming structured datasets to ensure reliable inputs for analytics and modeling is also a critical aspect of this role.
The ideal candidate will have 4–5 years of hands-on experience in data science, applied statistics, or machine learning. Proficiency in Python (including Pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn) and familiarity with AI toolkits such as Claude or Gemini are essential. Experience with SQL for data extraction and transformation, as well as a solid understanding of data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI, is required. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field is necessary, with a master's degree being a plus.
