Senior DevOps Engineer
Armada is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team, focusing on deploying and managing cutting-edge technologies to support our federal programs. This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and involves close collaboration with Engineering, Cloud Platform, and Federal teams to ensure our technology aligns with federal growth strategies, mission priorities, and compliance milestones. The position is based in Seattle, WA, with options in the Virginia/Washington, DC metro area or Austin, TX.
Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, automating deployment and operations processes, managing and monitoring infrastructure on cloud platforms—particularly Azure—and implementing Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration. The role also involves troubleshooting and resolving issues across development, test, and production environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices, and utilizing GitHub for version control and collaboration.
Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required, along with proven experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer or similar role. Essential skills include solid experience with Kubernetes, proficiency in Azure cloud services, a strong understanding of CI/CD concepts, familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, proficiency with GitHub, scripting skills in languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell, and experience with monitoring and logging tools.
Preferred qualifications include experience with AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or similar secure cloud platforms, familiarity with air-gapped or tactical edge deployments, certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or FedRAMP Practitioner, and experience collaborating with system integrators, primes, or federal agencies.
Armada offers a competitive base salary ranging from $157,600 to $197,000, along with equity options.
