Senior DevOps Manager

Experian is seeking a Senior DevOps Manager to lead the India Identity DevOps team, overseeing the development, deployment, and maintenance of infrastructure and applications. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software products, while providing regional leadership within the Platforms and Applications organization.

Key responsibilities include managing software engineering projects to ensure timely and budget-conscious completion, facilitating cross-team collaboration to resolve complex issues, and mentoring software engineers to foster skill development. The role also involves developing and implementing DevOps strategies and best practices, designing and managing CI/CD pipelines to automate the software development lifecycle, and ensuring system performance, availability, and security through proactive measures.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 15 years of experience in the IT industry, including at least 5 years in a management or leadership position. Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is essential, along with proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Git, and a solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration are also required.
