The Senior Digital Media Planner Luxury Automotive role at WPP Media involves strategic and operational responsibility for digital campaigns and budgets, focusing on the luxury automotive sector. The position is based in Frankfurt, Germany, within WPP Media, WPP's AI-driven media operating unit that integrates media, data, and partnerships to deliver creative personalization at scale.
Key responsibilities include implementing digital campaigns from planning through to completion, coordinating with channel experts in paid search, paid social, programmatic, and e-commerce. The role also involves monitoring market and media trends to develop recommendations for placements, formats, and targeting, as well as overseeing coordination with consultants, marketers, channel experts, and campaign management. Additionally, the planner will evaluate offers, partnerships, and special advertising formats, manage conditions and budgets in collaboration with the Investment Team, and develop strategies and pitches to grow existing and new clients.
Candidates should have a degree or completed vocational training in marketing, media, business, or a related field, along with at least 3 years of experience in planning or consulting on digital media campaigns. Proficiency with common planning tools, relevant media terminology, and online KPIs is essential. Strong analytical thinking, excellent Excel skills, high organization, resilience, self-reliance, clear communication, teamwork abilities, and excellent written and spoken German skills are also required.
