Senior Director, Federal Sales
The Senior Director, Federal Sales at Recorded Future will oversee the U.S. Federal Government sales territory, focusing on the Department of Defense and Intelligence Communities. This leadership role involves guiding a team of account executives to develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies, multi-year account plans, and quarterly execution frameworks to achieve and surpass annual revenue targets.
Key responsibilities include communicating the U.S. Public Sector strategy to account executives, establishing both short-term and long-term plans to meet quarterly and yearly goals, and providing management oversight to drive sales strategy and goal attainment. The role also involves participating in strategic planning sessions, implementing public sector processes such as forecast calls and pipeline generation, and mentoring account executives while serving as a strategic advisor and subject matter expert.
Candidates should have over five years of experience as a people manager in the federal space, with a background in government sales management; experience in the cybersecurity industry is strongly preferred. Proven success in leading and motivating sales teams to achieve goals, the ability to leverage key performance indicators for strategic decisions, and experience in hiring, developing, and retaining talent are essential. Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as experience working with North American channel partners, are also required.
The base salary range for this full-time position is $201,000 to $281,500, with eligibility for incentive compensation, equity, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
