Senior Technical Trainer
As a Senior Cyber Security Trainer & Curriculum Developer at Recorded Future, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing customer enablement through comprehensive technical training. Recorded Future is a leading intelligence company with over 1,000 professionals serving more than 1,900 clients globally. This position offers the opportunity to design, deliver, and refine cybersecurity learning experiences that empower clients to effectively utilize Recorded Future's threat intelligence solutions.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and conducting both live and virtual cybersecurity training sessions for a diverse, global audience. You will create and manage curriculum courses, design technical labs, and develop Capture the Flag (CTF) challenges aligned with specific role-based use cases. Additionally, you will mentor junior trainers and instructional designers, collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure training content reflects evolving product capabilities, and contribute to the Recorded Future Community through webinars and events. Analyzing training effectiveness using learner feedback and performance metrics will be key to continuously improving course impact.
The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in training, cybersecurity, or enablement roles, with a proven track record of independently designing and delivering cybersecurity training for external customers. A deep understanding of threat intelligence, cyber defense frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, and threat actor analysis is essential. Strong instructional design skills, experience in creating interactive, lab-based learning environments, and excellent facilitation and communication abilities across various formats are required. Proficiency in using learning analytics to measure engagement and training impact, along with strong collaboration and stakeholder communication skills, is also necessary.
Preferred qualifications include certifications such as CISSP or GIAC, familiarity with the Recorded Future platform or similar threat intelligence platforms, and proficiency in tools like Articulate 360, Camtasia, and LMS platforms such as Skilljar. Experience with AI applications in cybersecurity training, mentoring peer instructors, and knowledge of adult learning theories and modern digital learning strategies are advantageous.
