Senior Director, Global Merchant Health
The Senior Director of Global Merchant Health at Riskified is a pivotal leadership role focused on ensuring optimal performance, trust, and growth for merchants utilizing the company's platform. This position involves managing a global team of analysts across New York, Tel Aviv, China, and Brazil, and reports directly to the Chief Customer Officer. Key responsibilities include leading and mentoring a high-caliber global team, fostering a collaborative and accountable team culture, and overseeing the end-to-end performance health of Riskified's merchant portfolio. The role requires close collaboration with merchants to understand their business initiatives and translate those needs into analytical strategies. Additionally, the Senior Director will lead responses to complex fraud attacks or performance anomalies, driving cross-functional action plans with urgency and clarity, and collaborate with Data Science teams to deploy and optimize models while advocating for real-world merchant needs.
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of relevant experience, including leading senior, high-performing analytical or fraud-focused teams in a global environment. A strong background in fraud, risk, anti-money laundering (AML), payments, or e-commerce analytics is essential. The role demands proven ability to operate at the intersection of analytics, technology, and business strategy, as well as comfort and credibility in client-facing environments with strong interpersonal skills. Demonstrated success in building scalable processes, automation, and operational rigor in complex organizations is also required. Global experience working across regions, cultures, and time zones is considered a strong plus.
The base salary range for this position is $220,000 to $240,000, applicable to candidates performing the job within New York City. Actual salary will be based on qualifications, competencies, and location. In addition to the base salary, full-time regular employees receive a bonus target and are eligible for stock-based awards.
