Senior Director of Supply Chain, Logistics/ Last Mile Delivery
As the Senior Director of Supply Chain Management - Logistics at LG Electronics, you will lead the development and implementation of the company's last mile logistics strategy for the American market. This role is crucial for stabilizing transportation and hub operations, focusing on transforming the customer delivery experience to ensure reliability for key partners and end consumers. You will optimize the last mile carrier mix to reduce reliance on single sources and diversify the delivery network to ensure capacity during peak seasons. Additionally, you will enforce vendor compliance and carrier governance by implementing strict oversight, audit mechanisms, and performance scorecards centered on on-time delivery, damage-free delivery, and customer communication metrics. Leading contract negotiations with logistics service providers to secure service guarantees and control clauses for non-performance is also a critical aspect of this role.
