ProShares is seeking an experienced Senior Portfolio Manager to join its private equity investment team, focusing on managing 1940 Act private equity funds. This role is pivotal in driving investment strategy, portfolio construction, and execution across manager selection, secondary transactions, and co-investments. The successful candidate will leverage strong underwriting expertise and operational skills to manage the semi-liquid nature of these fund products effectively.

Key responsibilities include overseeing portfolio construction and ongoing management to ensure alignment with fund mandates, risk management, and liquidity considerations. The role involves developing and implementing strategies across primary manager commitments, secondary transactions, and co-investments. Additionally, the Senior Portfolio Manager will monitor portfolio exposures, performance attribution, and liquidity forecasting.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree, with an advanced degree (MBA, JD, CFA, or CPA) preferred. A minimum of 10 years of experience in private equity, secondary investing, co-investments, or portfolio management is required, with exposure to 1940 Act fund structures strongly preferred. Demonstrated expertise in underwriting across secondaries, manager selection, and co-investments, along with strong financial modeling and valuation skills, is essential.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $220,000 to $240,000, excluding discretionary bonus compensation. Total compensation may vary based on experience, role, location, department, and individual performance.
