Senior Director, Technology & Operations
ProShares is seeking a Senior Director, Technology & Operations to serve as the deputy to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO). This pivotal role involves shaping and executing the firm's technology strategy, driving innovation, and ensuring operational excellence. The position requires overseeing all aspects of the company's technology infrastructure to align with business objectives and the dynamic demands of the financial services sector.
The Senior Director will partner with the CTO to define and implement the company's technology vision and roadmap. Key responsibilities include managing cloud infrastructures across platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, leading software development practices, and overseeing data systems to ensure real-time processing capabilities. The role also involves ensuring regulatory compliance, implementing robust cybersecurity strategies, and integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning tools to enhance operational efficiency and customer engagement.
Candidates should have over 12 years of management and leadership experience in IT and technology, preferably within financial services or asset management, with at least 5 years in an executive capacity overseeing cross-functional technology teams. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is required, while a master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Information Systems, or a related technical field is highly preferred. Familiarity with core financial technology components, cloud computing technologies, data analytics platforms, and cybersecurity practices is essential.
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $195,000 to $275,000, excluding discretionary bonus compensation. Total compensation may vary based on experience, role, location, department, and individual performance.
