Senior Finance Manager

The Senior Finance Manager will play a pivotal role within Sony Music's Financial Reporting team, supporting the Finance Director in managing the annual statutory accounts preparation and assisting with the statutory audit of multiple reporting entities. This position is based at our Kings Cross, London office, and involves close collaboration with various stakeholders, including the Central Finance team and outsourced finance teams in India and Poland.

Key responsibilities include preparing annual statutory accounts under UK GAAP, utilizing OneSource statutory accounting software, and serving as the primary contact for statutory auditors. The role also encompasses overseeing internal overhead recharges, reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, managing month-end inter-company variances, and assisting with VAT returns and corporation tax preparations. Additionally, the Senior Finance Manager will act as a finance business partner for Facilities and building overheads, including forecasting and budgeting for this area.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified ACA or ACCA professional with strong audit experience, either from practice or a commercial role. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, is essential, and familiarity with SAP is advantageous. The role requires excellent organizational skills, a positive attitude, and strong communication abilities. Attention to detail, the capacity to meet tight deadlines, and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving are also critical.
