Senior Financial Analyst
The Senior Financial Analyst at Verra Mobility plays a pivotal role in supporting strategic decision-making within the Commercial Services business unit. This position involves providing detailed financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting to drive business performance and ensure financial integrity. The analyst will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Operations, HR, and Supply Chain, to deliver actionable insights that inform data-driven decisions.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining driver-based financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning. The analyst will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial packages with variance analysis, conduct sensitivity analyses to evaluate investments and resource allocations, and identify margin improvement opportunities. Additionally, the role involves ensuring the accuracy of financial data in alignment with US GAAP and company policies, as well as leveraging ERP and BI tools to automate reporting processes.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, with an MBA or CPA being advantageous. A minimum of 5–7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or financial analysis roles with progressive responsibility is required. Proficiency in advanced Excel functions, detailed financial modeling, and familiarity with ERP/BI tools are essential. Strong presentation and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead projects and challenge assumptions are also critical for success in this role.
