Senior Forward Deploy Engineer
The Senior Forward Deploy Engineer at Armada is a pivotal role that combines hands-on deployment execution with ongoing technical account ownership across Australia and New Zealand. This position bridges the gap between initial platform deployment and long-term customer success, ensuring seamless integration and sustained operational excellence. Key responsibilities include leading end-to-end deployment of Armada platforms such as Atlas, Galleon with AEP, and Leviathan AI Factory integrated with Bridge GPU-as-a-Service. The engineer will execute deployments across the ND8 region, manage infrastructure bring-up, platform configuration, and validate production readiness. Real-time technical decisions across hardware, networking, Kubernetes, storage, and GPU layers are integral to the role.
The position requires a minimum of 8 years of experience in infrastructure, platform engineering, SRE, forward-deployed engineering, or technical account roles. Candidates must demonstrate deep technical expertise across Linux, networking, Kubernetes, storage, and GPU-accelerated compute. Strong troubleshooting skills in live, production environments and experience supporting enterprise customers across Australia and New Zealand are essential. Willingness to travel across the ANZ region and clear, confident communication skills suited for executive and senior engineering audiences are also required.
Armada offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $188,000 to $235,000 USD, equity options, and subsidized benefits.
