Senior Forward Deploy Engineer
The Senior Forward Deploy Engineer at Armada is a hybrid role that combines hands-on deployment execution with ongoing technical account ownership across the United States and Canada. This position involves leading platform deployments, ensuring operational maturity, and driving customer success post-deployment. Armada is a full-stack edge infrastructure company delivering compute, connectivity, and sovereign AI/ML solutions to some of the world's most remote places, with deployments in over 60 countries.
Key responsibilities include leading end-to-end deployment of Armada platforms such as Atlas, Galleon with AEP, and Leviathan AI Factory integrated with Bridge GPUaaS. The engineer will execute deployments across multi-site and hybrid environments, own infrastructure bring-up, platform configuration, and production readiness validation. Additionally, the role involves making real-time technical decisions across hardware, networking, Kubernetes, storage, and GPU layers, and partnering with clients to integrate Galleon infrastructure into end-to-end solutions and existing IT ecosystems.
The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in infrastructure, platform engineering, SRE, forward-deployed engineering, or technical account roles. They should possess deep technical expertise across Linux, networking, Kubernetes, storage, and GPU-accelerated compute, along with strong troubleshooting skills in live, production environments. Experience supporting large enterprise or public sector customers in the US and Canada, willingness to travel across North America as required, and a clear, confident communication style suited for executive and senior engineering audiences are also essential.
Armada offers a competitive compensation package with an on-target earnings salary range of $188,000 to $235,000 USD, varying based on location, experience, skills, and qualifications.
