Senior General Liability Attorney
Wilson Elser's Dallas office is seeking a Senior General Liability Attorney with experience in general liability, premises, products, construction, transportation, or insurance. This role offers attorneys with over eight years of litigation experience the opportunity to engage with prominent national clients and handle substantial litigation responsibilities. The position involves direct interaction with sophisticated clients and collaboration with experienced professionals within the firm.
The attorney will independently manage a complex defense litigation caseload from inception through resolution, including trials, mediations, and settlements. Responsibilities include developing case strategies, drafting and arguing substantive motions, conducting depositions, managing discovery processes, and working closely with expert witnesses. The role also entails representing clients in various legal proceedings and providing strategic legal advice and regular case updates.
Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school and be admitted to practice in Texas. A minimum of eight years of defense litigation experience is required, with a preference for experience in general liability, premises, products, transportation, construction, or insurance litigation. Superior analytical skills, strong written and oral communication abilities, and sophisticated technical skills are essential. First-chair trial experience is considered a plus.
