Senior Homes Manager (People Manager) - Japan
The Senior Homes Manager (People Manager) role at Agoda is pivotal in expanding the supply of non-hotel accommodations in Japan, enhancing partner relationships, and improving the quality of the Homes supply. This position is based in Tokyo and involves close collaboration with regional and central teams across various countries.
Key responsibilities include leading and developing a team of account managers, sourcing and acquiring new accommodation partners, optimizing existing relationships, and leveraging analytical skills to drive the health of the assigned portfolio. The role also entails building trusted relationships with decision-makers, reporting on key performance indicators, supporting regional and global leadership in executing scalable initiatives, and developing a community of hosts through events and feedback consolidation.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, fluency in both Japanese and English, a minimum of 8 years of experience in e-commerce, technology, or internet industries in B2B sales or similar partner-facing roles, and at least 4 years of people management or project leadership experience. A proven track record as a self-starter, strong business development skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools are also required.
