Senior Investment Strategy Analyst
The Senior Investment Strategy Analyst at ProShares plays a pivotal role within the Investment Strategy Team, contributing to the development and communication of investment strategies that align with the company's extensive ETF offerings. ProShares, a leader in the ETF industry since 2006, manages over $85 billion in assets and offers a diverse range of products, including crypto-linked, dividend growth, interest rate hedged bond, and geared (leveraged and inverse) ETFs.
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing investment models, conducting research and statistical analyses to evaluate fund performance and usage, and creating periodic collateral materials. The analyst will also support various research projects, such as analyzing the investment performance of the product shelf, assessing product usage in investment strategies, and identifying tactical marketing themes and sales ideas. Collaboration with the portfolio team to communicate aspects of fund performance is essential.
Candidates should possess a BA/BS degree, with a CFA or CAIA designation (or progress toward one) strongly preferred; an MBA is optional. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial services is required, along with a solid understanding of equity markets and a strong macroeconomic perspective. Proficiency in empirical analysis and statistical techniques applied to financial markets or investment products is essential. Expertise in analyzing time series data using Excel or other statistical software, strong writing skills, and meticulous attention to detail are also necessary. Experience in alternative product management or research is a plus.
The compensation for this position includes a base salary ranging from $80,000 to $125,000 annually, excluding discretionary bonus compensation. Total compensation may vary based on experience, role, location, department, and individual performance.
