The position is based within the Collections Unit of the Department of Revenue, with dual reporting responsibilities to the Chief Revenue Counsel and the Deputy Revenue Commissioner for Collections.

Key responsibilities include creating, overseeing, evaluating, and amending contracts, as well as monitoring them for conformance. The Senior Legal Assistant will serve as a liaison between attorneys, other legal assistants, taxpayers, and other stakeholders to facilitate disputes and resolutions in the City's interest. This position provides an opportunity to contribute to the City's efforts in tax litigation and collections, working within a collaborative and inclusive environment that values diversity and professional growth.
