Senior Legal Counsel
Nebius is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join our dynamic legal team, supporting our expanding operations across the EMEA region. This role involves close collaboration with our business development teams on global investment and M&A transactions, as well as handling various legal matters in Israel and the Middle East and Africa. The position is integral to supporting Nebius's rapid global growth.
Key responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, advising, and negotiating asset purchase agreements, investment transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and technology agreements such as SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS/HaaS contracts. The role also encompasses managing a broad range of commercial agreements, coordinating with external counsel to ensure cost-effective, high-quality legal support, monitoring regulatory developments affecting Nebius's activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and risk management.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from a top-tier university and at least 5-7 years of relevant experience as in-house legal counsel or as a senior associate in a top-tier law firm. Proven experience in asset purchase agreements, M&A transactions, and investment transactions is essential, along with experience supporting high-tech companies across various growth stages. Strong understanding of commercial and corporate law, excellent communication and contract negotiation skills in English, and a proactive, pragmatic, and business-oriented approach are required. Understanding of privacy and AI legislation and trends is considered an advantage.
