Senior Manager, Digital Asset & Loan Accounting
The Senior Manager, Digital Asset & Loan Accounting role at Figure focuses on leading accounting functions related to digital assets and loan products within a fast-paced fintech environment. The day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing the accounting and reporting processes for loan origination, servicing, and securitization transactions, as well as digital asset-related activities. The Senior Manager will ensure accurate GAAP financial reporting, manage month-end closes, prepare and review key reconciliations, and drive the implementation of new accounting policies in response to regulatory and business changes. Regular collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Product, Legal, and Technology is expected to ensure cohesive integration of accounting practices with business initiatives.
Qualified candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with an active CPA strongly preferred. A minimum of 8 years of related experience, including prior work in public accounting or high-growth fintech environments, is required. Expertise in loan and digital asset accounting, SEC reporting, technical research, and experience with ERP systems are essential. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills are vital to drive process improvement and support team development.
Compensation for this role is highly competitive, with a base salary typically ranging from $170,000 to $200,000 per year, along with eligibility for annual bonuses and equity awards.
