Metropolis is seeking a Senior Manager, Finance Business Partner to serve as the strategic financial advisor to our People Operations, Payroll, and Compensation & Benefits leadership. This role involves managing the financial dynamics of a 22,000-person workforce, bridging the gap between HR and Finance, and translating complex human capital metrics into actionable corporate strategies to ensure our hiring plans align with long-term growth targets.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining dynamic, predictive workforce forecasting models that project headcount requirements, base salaries, overtime utilization, employer payroll taxes, and complex benefits programs. The role also involves defining strict reporting requirements for HRIS and Compensation & Benefits programs to ensure planning, forecasting, and reporting accuracy. Additionally, the Senior Manager will work closely with HR and Talent Acquisition to build and maintain rigorous processes to ensure alignment on pipeline velocity and prioritization.

The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of progressive experience in FP&A or as a Finance Business Partner, with significant experience partnering with HR or People Operations in a large, labor-intensive environment. Advanced technical ability to extract, structure, and model large datasets originating from enterprise HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, UKG) is essential. A deep understanding of compensation modeling, payroll taxes, and benefits, along with the executive presence and emotional intelligence required to actively influence, advise, and challenge senior HR leadership, is also required.

The anticipated base salary for this position is $158,000.00 USD to $186,000.00 USD annually. The actual base salary offered is determined by a number of variables, including the applicant's qualifications for the position, years of relevant experience, distinctive skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location of residence and/or place of employment. Base salary is one component of Metropolis’s total compensation package, which may also include access to or eligibility for healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a lucrative stock option plan, bonus plans, and more.
