Senior Manager - Marketing, South
The Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing creative marketing campaigns to promote Sony Music's content, including soundtracks, pop, and catalogue releases. This role involves close collaboration with artists, production houses, and internal teams to ensure that each campaign achieves both commercial success and cultural impact.
Key responsibilities include designing and executing marketing campaigns for new releases, catalogue content, and independent artists. The manager will define campaign objectives, target audiences, positioning, and budgets, working with internal teams to ensure cohesive rollouts. Additionally, the role involves driving social media growth through consistent and creative content posting, running promotional campaigns across social platforms through influencer partnerships, and leveraging data and insights to build targeted fan engagement strategies.
The ideal candidate will have 7-9 years of proven experience in marketing, brand management, and strategic partnerships, with a strong focus on consumer-centric strategies. They should demonstrate the ability to blend creativity with analytical thinking to drive impactful brand campaigns, possess strong organizational and project management skills, and have excellent communication skills, including adaptability to local languages and regional nuances. A passion for music, film, branding, and trendspotting, with a keen eye for emerging consumer behaviors, is essential. Native fluency in Tamil is a must.
