Senior Manager, Marketplace
The Senior Manager, Marketplace at Metropolis will play a pivotal role in scaling the Metropolis Marketplace, a central inventory system and e-commerce platform that dynamically distributes aggregated first- and third-party supply across consumer and enterprise demand channels. This position is integral to the Growth organization and serves as a focal point for strategic partnerships within the company.
Key responsibilities include managing existing Marketplace partnerships to drive incremental growth through dedicated relationship management and optimization. The role involves collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Operations, Marketing, and Strategy teams to execute the Marketplace roadmap. Additionally, the Senior Manager will identify and advance new partnership opportunities across third-party B2C channels, consumer ads, and membership benefits to expand the Marketplace pipeline. Developing performance reporting and analytics for assigned partnerships to inform commercial strategy is also a critical aspect of the role.
The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced company, with demonstrated success in managing commercial partnerships, including account management and end-to-end deal execution. Strong project management skills are essential, along with the ability to drive cross-functional execution across various teams. The role requires excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, a data-driven approach to decision-making, and superior communication and presentation skills to articulate complex concepts clearly.
Metropolis offers a competitive compensation package, with an anticipated base salary ranging from $160,000 to $175,000 annually. The total compensation package may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, disability coverage, life insurance, a stock option plan, bonus plans, and more.
