Senior Manager of Product Engineering
The Senior Manager of Product Engineering at SRS Acquiom will lead and manage engineers within a dedicated, cross-functional Agile delivery team. This role involves taking ownership of two products and their respective delivery teams, ensuring alignment between Product and Engineering, and contributing effectively to the code base across the full stack. Key responsibilities include collaborating with teammates to ensure complete, succinct, and testable acceptance criteria, partnering with Product Owners/Managers to align product and engineering efforts, and hiring engineers for the product delivery teams. The role also involves coaching team members to ensure high-quality and efficient delivery of business value, evaluating team performance, providing technical leadership through mentorship, and leading the continuous improvement of engineering practices.
The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience as a full-stack Software Engineer and at least 2 years as an engineering manager, with a preference for 5+ years in management. Essential skills include time management, collaboration, designing robust and scalable solutions, unit and integration testing, modern cloud-native development (Docker, Kubernetes, Knative), leading collaborative software design sessions, continuous improvement of engineering practices, version control systems, distributed architecture and microservices, web-based application development, SOLID principles, design patterns, and database technologies.
The position offers a salary range of $180,000 to $195,000, depending on experience level.
