Senior Manager, Operations Risk Management

Mission Lane is seeking a Senior Manager, Operations Risk Management to establish and oversee the first line of defense within Customer Operations, reporting directly to the Senior Director of Operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring operational integrity and maintaining customer trust through accurate and reliable service delivery.

In this capacity, the Senior Manager will collaborate with process owners across various business areas—including new customer originations, customer servicing, payments, and portfolio management—to assess risks, develop controls, and implement remediation strategies. Additionally, the role involves managing the incident management process from identification through corrective action and closure, utilizing customer feedback and operational reviews to proactively address emerging risks.

Ideal candidates will have over five years of experience in first-line operations risk management within the financial services sector, coupled with a strong background in customer operations and team leadership. Proficiency in building risk programs from the ground up, translating risk strategies into actionable plans, and effectively communicating complex risk landscapes to senior leadership are essential.

The compensation package includes an annual base salary ranging from $115,000 to $138,000, with eligibility for additional incentives through annual programs.
