The Senior Manufacturing Engineer IV at Voyager Technologies, Inc. will serve as the principal program Manufacturing Engineer, overseeing all aspects of production for assigned Department of Defense programs. Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing, this role is based in Reno, NV, and requires on-site presence to ensure technically accurate manufacturing processes and product flow that meet quality, on-time delivery, and production cost targets.

Key responsibilities include reviewing design drawings for manufacturability, developing manufacturing processes and procedures, designing basic tools and production aids, and ensuring facility capabilities align with design requirements. The engineer will manage business processes to measure and improve production performance, utilize quality metrics to drive improvements, and prepare and conduct various reviews such as Manufacturing Readiness Reviews and Production Readiness Reviews. Additional duties involve supporting product failure analyses, root cause investigations, supplier inspections, hardware acceptance, and both internal and external audits.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited institution and have at least 12 years of related professional experience in manufacturing, quality, engineering, supply chain, or operations. Required skills include experience with AS9100, AS9102, and ISO 9001 standards, strong verbal and written communication abilities, and the capacity to manage and mentor operations personnel. The role demands a self-starter who can work with limited supervision and coordinate initiatives across multi-functional organizations. The ability to travel approximately 25% of the time and obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level is also necessary.

Voyager Technologies offers a competitive base salary range of $114,431.00 to $157,334.00, depending on experience, skills, and location.
