The Senior Mission Success Engineer for US Federal is a hands-on technical leader responsible for deployment execution, post-deployment technical ownership, and long-term mission success across federal programs. This role combines the execution depth of a Mission Success Engineer with the sustained ownership and accountability of a Technical Account Manager. The engineer leads deployments in FedRAMP-authorized and classified environments, remains embedded through authorization and stabilization, and continues as the primary technical owner throughout the program lifecycle. This position reports to the Senior Director of Customer Success & Delivery, US Federal, and is based remotely in the United States.

Key responsibilities include leading end-to-end deployment of Armada platforms such as Atlas, Galleon with AEP, and Leviathan AI Factory integrated with Bridge GPUaaS within classified facilities and FedRAMP-regulated environments. The engineer owns infrastructure bring-up, platform configuration, security hardening, and production readiness validation, making real-time technical decisions across hardware, networking, Kubernetes, storage, and GPU layers within cleared constraints. Additionally, the role involves serving as the primary technical point of contact for assigned federal programs post go-live, building trusted relationships with government engineers, mission owners, security teams, and integrators, and acting as Armada’s on-the-ground technical authority for federal customers.

Required qualifications include 8+ years of experience in infrastructure, platform engineering, SRE, forward-deployed engineering, or technical delivery roles in US Federal environments, an active TS/SCI clearance (with Full Scope Polygraph strongly preferred), demonstrated experience supporting FedRAMP-authorized platforms including ATO and continuous monitoring, a strong technical foundation in AI infrastructure, edge compute, data center systems, cloud platforms, and GPU-accelerated workloads, and proven ability to own both hands-on delivery and long-term program-level technical relationships. Strong written and verbal communication skills in classified and executive settings are also essential.

Compensation for this role ranges from $188,000 to $235,000 USD annually, varying based on location, experience, skills, and qualifications. In addition to the salary, this role offers equity and subsidized benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, health savings accounts (HSA), flexible spending accounts (FSA), dependent care FSAs (DCFSA), retirement plan options including 401(k) and Roth 401(k), unlimited paid time off (PTO), and 15 paid company holidays per year.
