Senior Performance Test Engineer
Experian is seeking a seasoned Senior Performance Test Engineer to join our Product Development team. This role focuses on ensuring the performance, reliability, and resilience of our cloud-native systems, contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality data and technology solutions across various industries.
The Senior Performance Test Engineer will design and execute comprehensive performance testing strategies, including Load, Stress, Spike, Endurance, and Capacity tests. Responsibilities encompass building and optimizing test scripts using tools like Apache JMeter and Locust, as well as integrating performance tests into CI/CD pipelines to maintain system scalability and reliability.
Candidates should possess a B.E./B.Tech degree and have 5 to 7 years of experience in performance engineering for web, APIs, and distributed systems. Proficiency in tools such as Apache JMeter and Locust, along with practical experience with AWS Distributed Load Testing (DLT) and AWS Fault Injection Simulator (FIS), is essential. A strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS protocols, WebSockets, REST, gRPC, and messaging systems like Kafka/SQS is also required.
