Senior Policy or Policy Counsel, Civil Rights and Racial Justice

The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) is seeking a Senior Policy or Policy Counsel to lead strategic initiatives aimed at safeguarding and expanding civil rights protections, with a particular focus on enforcing federal anti-discrimination laws. This role involves developing policies to eliminate barriers to opportunity for Black communities and other historically marginalized groups across various sectors, including the economy and education. The ideal candidate will be an agile, forward-thinking leader capable of responding decisively to ongoing civil rights challenges while identifying opportunities to strengthen existing frameworks.
